Both HALF DAY and FULL DAY GUIDED KAYAK TOURS will give you an up close and personal encounter with the Mangrove Jungle of Southwest Florida. These estuarine mangrove islands are uniquely shaped by tidal currents and wind; no two are exactly alike. Paddling through the natural waterways that weave between them has been likened to traversing a maze or labyrinth.

The variety of marine and bird life that lives and feeds within these saltwater tolerant mangrove trees will astound you. Perhaps we will decide to follow the tide out to an historic Indian mound to explore its uniquely preserved construction and natural plant varieties. Or we will quietly paddle through a rookery where egrets, herons, pelicans, cormorants and other wetland birds nest. Chances are bottlenose dolphins will be using those same routes. . . always exciting to see them cruising along side our kayaks. Ospreys are typically on the wing, suddenly swooping down, attempting to catch a fish. Or they are sitting atop amazingly constructed nests, scolding if we glide too close. The variety of shore birds, wading birds, pelicans and birds of prey we see varies daily.

If you opt for the HALF DAY TOUR we typically will be out 4 hours. The FULL DAY TOUR is 8 hours. When you book your reservation, together we will customize your trip so that every paddler in your group has an unforgettable Everglades experience.

I also have RENTAL KAYAKS. A SINGLE KAYAK is $50.00 per day. A TANDEM KAYAK is $75.00 per day. Your kayak rental includes your PFD (Life Jacket), PADDLE, and AREA CHART/MAP.
